Bridget O'Boyle, ex Panama
Bridget O'Boyle was aged 18 and from Crossmolina. She arrived on the Panama with her sister, Mary O'Boyle, aged 16. Both sisters could read, and their parents, Thomas and Bridget, were both dead.
A month after arrival in Sydney, Bridget and Mary O'Boyle were sent to the Wollongong Depot. Bridget was employed by M Hindmarsh of Gerringong, at £8 for one year (see Irish Famine Orphan Girl Database).
